From June 27, 2025, Air Corsica will connect Nice to Florence. This first link between the two cities will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. An offer that meets a growing demand between the south of France and Italy.

Air Corsica has announced the opening of a new route between Nice and Florence. Flights will start on June 27, 2025, and will be operated year-round with two weekly flights. They will be operated using ATR72-600 aircraft, which are more modern and eco-friendly.

This connection is part of the airline’s strategy to strengthen relations between the French Riviera and Italy. It complements an already well-established network in the country. France has had numerous direct flights to Rome, Milan, and Olbia for two years.

“We want to facilitate exchanges between Corsica, Nice, and Italy, while meeting the demand of Mediterranean travelers,” explains Air Corsica in a statement.

Optimized Connectivity

The flight schedules for Nice-Florence will be adjusted to offer smooth connections with the four main Corsican airports: Ajaccio, Bastia, Figari, and Calvi. This will enable islanders to reach Florence via Nice and, conversely, Italian tourists to easily access Corsica.

The announced fares start at €99 for a one-way flight between Nice and Florence. The round-trip tickets Corsica-Nice-Florence will be available starting at €269. These prices include checked luggage of 23 kg and cabin luggage of 8 kg per person.

Reservations are already open on the Air Corsica website and at travel agencies. This new route reflects a desire to strengthen tourist and economic exchanges between three major regions: Corsica, the French Riviera, and Tuscany.
