Nice is experimenting with an initiative to simplify social declarations.

Nice hosted an event focused on simplifying administrative procedures. Organized by Urssaf Paca and the Caf of Alpes-Maritimes, this meeting showcased an unprecedented system.

Since the beginning of October, RSA and activity bonus recipients in Alpes-Maritimes have been benefiting from a new service. This system automatically pre-fills their quarterly income declaration (DTR). By directly integrating information provided by employers and social organizations, it aims to reduce errors and administrative steps.

Urssaf plays a key role in this process. It analyzes any reports related to declarations and intervenes directly with employers if corrections are necessary. This work, conducted in connection with the Nominative Social Declaration (DSN), enhances the reliability of the net social amount used to calculate benefits.

An Experimentation on the Path to Expansion

The benefits of this system are multiple. Beneficiaries save time, declarations are more secure, and the risk of errors is reduced. Currently tested in five French departments, including Alpes-Maritimes, this project is set to be rolled out throughout the entire PACA region by mid-2025.

During this event in Nice, social and institutional actors had the opportunity to exchange ideas. Discussions focused on the benefits and potential improvements of this initiative. Ultimately, these innovations could simplify procedures for thousands of households, ensuring a better use of public resources.
