The Minister of Justice, Nicole Belloubet, confirmed that Nice would host the regional framework for comprehensive management of psychological trauma. France will also propose Nice as a candidate to host the European Center of Expertise for Victims of Terrorism.
For Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, “I welcome this decision, which is full of meaning and symbolism for a city that asserts its resilience every day.”
This framework will be responsible for improving the support for victims regardless of the origin of the trauma. It will allow many people, victims or relatives, to benefit from expertise in therapeutic support, and for professionals, to be trained in innovative care methods in the field of psychological trauma. It will provide researchers with a space and resources to develop research and expertise work.
