Noé Pinto, from Nice, created an Instagram page called Foot 4 years ago. On Noé Foot, he shares news and information. We met him to learn a little more about him and to talk about OGC Nice!
“I am a passionate person who shares his passion”. It was after watching a football match that he concluded that in Nice, there was no one to give a voice to the supporters. Thus, after a match, equipped with his microphone and camera, he went to meet the supporters to get predictions before the match and feelings afterward. He quickly became the link between the players and the supporters. A few years later, the Noé Foot community has grown to more than 16,000 subscribers.
An Overflowing Passion
On his account, information often breaks first, thanks to the various contacts he has developed over time. These include people working at the club or for the players. “It represents a lot of responsibility, there are many views, you have to be careful not to say just anything”. The success of his account is due to the relationship he has built with his community, a relationship of trust and support.
For him, Noé Foot represents passion above all “it takes up a lot of space in my daily life, it’s huge”, he added. Per day, he dedicates at least 4 hours to it, significant additional hours in a workday.
Let’s Talk Football
Any words about the new coach Didier Digard?
“He is great, and he already knows the players because he used to be with the club”. Indeed, arriving in early January after Lucien Favre’s departure, Didier Digard was a player for OGC Nice before becoming a coach there.
However, since mid-February, he has been coaching without a license, and the club from the Azure is paying a fine of 25,000 euros per match. But good news, the leadership from Azure should soon be exempt from this sanction, as Didier Digard is on the list of names selected to join the next session of the BEPF next season.
Players who have particularly impressed you?
“Balotelli is a very strong and very technical player, there’s also Ben Arfa and currently Moffi”.
Thoughts on the current season?
“We started poorly but we’re getting back on track”. Also, remember we are still in competition for the “Europa Conference League”, Nice will play against FC Basel in the quarter-finals. The first leg will take place in Switzerland on Thursday, April 13, before the return match on Thursday, April 20 at Allianz Riviera. “Of course there is a chance, our advantage is that we are not an expected team, the players play for us, the people of Nice. In any case, it’s pure happiness, we have never reached this level before!”
Promising players at the OGC Nice training center?
True to its principles, OGC Nice is known for launching its young talents, regardless of their age. So we asked Noé if he had noticed any standout players. However, he did not want to comment on specific names “there are certainly players who seem promising, it’s something to keep an eye on!” Before adding “Turam is not a club youth, but it’s certain he will be brought to progress well”.
