For two weeks, the international break will be in full swing. Several Gym players will take part for the first time with their respective nations.

Khéphren Thuram, the third Thuram in the family to be called up to the French team, becomes the first player from Nice to be selected for the national team since Christophe Jallet in 2017. Jean-Clair Todibo could also have been one of the players chosen by Didier Deschamps, but it’s only the 21-year-old midfielder who will experience his debut with the French team against the Netherlands and Ireland. Melvin Bard will also participate in this international break with the blue jersey, but with the French Under-21 team led by Sylvain Ripoll.

Algerian coach Djamel Belmadi announced this Saturday the list of players called up for the next gathering of the Fennecs. There are two players from Nice, Hicham Boudaoui and Badreddine Bouanani. While the midfielder already has 11 caps with the Greens, it is a first call-up for the talented 18-year-old winger who arrived on the Côte d’Azur this summer.

A sensation in recent weeks, left-back Ayoub Amraoui will join the Moroccan senior team for the first time. At 18 years old and with only 5 professional appearances, the player from Gym’s youth academy has caught the eye of Walid Regragui.

Forward Terem Moffi, the most expensive signing in OGC Nice’s history, will also be in the national team in the coming weeks. Regularly called up with Nigeria, the former Lorient player forms the attack for the Super Eagles alongside Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

As a key player and vice-captain of Denmark, Kasper Schmeichel will guard the goal for the Danish team in the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Finland and Kazakhstan.

These international players from Nice will don the red and black colors at the beginning of April with an away game against Angers, the bottom team in the championship.
