During the OGC Nice / RC Strasbourg match on April 1, 2006 at 8:00 PM at the Ray Stadium, the fight against AIDS is in the spotlight!
Every year, the SIDACTION association organizes the 3-day SIDACTION event (March 31, April 1 and 2, 2006) nationally, with many other associations and volunteers from all over France joining in.
This year, in collaboration with OGC Nice, students from the BTS Communication des Entreprises are mobilizing: distribution of condoms, informational leaflets, sale of ribbons, pins, and the creation of a Tifo. To show their solidarity, players from both teams will wear the SIDACTION T-shirt during the warm-up, and the kickoff will be done by a member of the Nice association A.C.Sida, a SIDACTION partner, Mr. Eric IMPROVISI.
This event aims to raise awareness among the population of Nice about the dangers of AIDS. AIDS still claims many victims, especially in our region: it is the second in France in terms of the number of victims.
To enable the public to actively participate in the fight against AIDS, collection boxes will be set up in several traffic areas to collect donations. All proceeds will go to SIDACTION.
