After the departure of Walter Benitez, one of OGC Nice’s priorities for the transfer window is to find a goalkeeper capable of performing at the same level as the Argentine. Favre had a compatriot in his sights to take on the role of number 1, and the transfer should be finalized shortly.
The captain of the Swiss national team, Yann Sommer, is expected to be the last line of defense for the Gym for the 2022-23 season. A few days ago, we relayed the interest of the Riviera club in the 33-year-old goalkeeper, who has been with Borussia Mönchengladbach for more than 8 years.
