This Sunday, OGC Nice travels to FC Nantes for the 8th matchday of Ligue 1. All pre-match information can be found here.

OGC Nice is back! After an international break, Franck Haise’s team will face FC Nantes this weekend in a Ligue 1 match. The Niçois are eager to return to winning ways and climb the rankings. As a reminder, after their draw against PSG (1-1), the Aiglons are only in 9th place in the standings. Jérémie Boga and his teammates will then follow up with a Europa League match, next Thursday, in Ferencvaros (Hungary).

On the other side, FC Nantes is on a streak of four matches without a win in Ligue 1. After a good start to the season, the Canaries have been struggling in recent weeks. However, in the standings, the Canaries are in 10th place, just behind Nice, with the same number of points as the Aiglons.

Ndombele unavailable, Laborde returns, Dante suspended

For this match, Franck Haise will be without his captain, Dante. The Brazilian defender is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards in the championship. Terem Moffi, Melvin Bard, and Morgan Sanson are still in the infirmary. Meanwhile, Tanguy Ndombele has had a relapse with the hip issue that had troubled him a few weeks ago.

Finally, Youssouf Ndayishimiye and Mohamed-Ali Cho are doubtful for the match, according to the Nice coach during a press conference this Thursday. But, good news: Gaëtan Laborde is back. The striker had been out since fracturing his metatarsal in mid-August.

On the Nantes side, Marcus Coco and Douglas Augusto are suspended. Injured, Tino Kadewere and Jean-Kévin Duverne are not fit for the match.
