What is the origin of your restaurant’s name “Oka”?
“Oka is a short form of Okami, which means goddess of the sun in Japanese mythology. Okami is the name of my Shiba Inu. At Oka, dogs are welcomed and treated like kings with two ‘okanin’ dishes: Salmon omelet and Chicken thigh.”
What do you hope to convey to food lovers through your dishes?
“I mix the Asian flavors of my childhood. We prepare and refine dishes so that our guests enjoy themselves, have a good time, and feel well-treated.”
