CAL Gorbella and the company Acte 3 are organizing the 3rd edition of Femmes en scènes, a festival under the prestigious patronage of Noëlle Perna.

From March 8 to 20, female artists from Nice and the region will be taking over the conducive space of the Tour Gorbella to present live performances (music, theater, dance, readings…) and exhibitions of photography and painting. These events are complemented by exchanges: readings, performances, sports activities, conferences, and debates.

“Organizing this festival is not just about giving women a voice… they have already taken it! It is about providing a space to gather, mix, and ‘mixter’ talents, energies, artistic practices, and paying tribute to all women!” Françoise Nahon, President of Cie Acte 3.

-The festival opens with a play by Jean-Luc Lagarce, performed by the Compagnie Alcantara, titled “The Rules of Etiquette in Modern Society.” This poetic, musical, rock, trashy, and wacky play explores the role of women in today’s society.
It is freely inspired by a 19th-century etiquette manual.

-A significant portion of the proceeds from the shows will be donated to an association known for its work for women: Soroptimist International and their Club Nice Côte d’Azur, are particularly committed to promoting the status of women, maintaining a high level of morality, the principle of human rights for all, equality, development, and peace.
