High school and middle school students are preparing to make important decisions regarding their future career paths. To assist them in refining their choices, the CFA Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur offers young people the opportunity to visit the facilities and explore the courses available, during a half-day event, where they can also engage with professionals.
Yesterday, over 500 middle school students and their chaperones participated in a “information point” workshop on apprenticeships. Throughout the morning, apprentices showcased their skills: hairshow demonstrations by apprentice hairdressers, a showcase of work by apprentice beauticians, and a stage performance by a group of apprentice bakers and hairdressers…
Apprenticeships are one of the most effective solutions for combating youth unemployment: more than 60% of apprentices find a job within six months of completing their training. Each year, the CFA Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur hosts and trains nearly 1,100 young apprentices and adult learners, in around 13 different trades and through nearly 22 certifications.
