Paralympic Table Tennis in Antibes

Latest News

The “Handisport Antibes Méditerranée Table Tennis” club comprises sporty and dynamic disabled individuals who thoroughly enjoy participating in Disabled Table Tennis.

This section reopened three years ago with two players (Georges-Emmanuel MOUTIEZ and Cyril HERNANDEZ) and in the coming season, there will be at least eight players (4 quadriplegics, 2 paraplegics in wheelchairs, 1 polio in wheelchairs, and 1 standing hemiplegic).

All players, regardless of their level of disability and skill, receive the same attention. However, competition remains competition, and the club has been regularly winning medals at the French Championships and international tournaments in the quad categories for the past three years, with this year achieving a first national title (France 2005 Doubles Champion in the quad category with Vincent BOURY from the Echirolles club).

Although the H.A.M.T.T. clearly aids in social reintegration, the image the club wishes to project is that of a sports club where people smile and sweat.

To join them:

Thursdays from 3 PM to 5 PM
Salle des Chataignier – avenue des Chataîgniers – Antibes
