Many are no longer in the race. In tennis, Diane Parry was defeated this Monday by the world number one, Iga Swiatek. In doubles, alongside Caroline Garcia, the competition also ended this week. The French players lost their round of 16 match against the Italian pair Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini.

Another Riviera swimmer, Florent Manaudou. Freshly medaled in the 50m freestyle, the regular at the municipal pool of Antibes clinched a second bronze medal tonight in the 4×100 medley relay.
