The number of events classified as natural disasters is on the rise, with 421 cases recorded compared to an average of 396 in the 21st century. Among these events, hailstorms in France contributed to the second-largest compensation in the country, amounting to 6.9 billion euros (7.4 billion dollars) compared to all types of natural disasters.

The coordination of the commercial activity and international development of the new French division will be managed by Giorgio Milano, who joined EuroGrandine after a long managerial experience in the automotive industry in Italy, Germany, Spain, and France within some of the largest multinational companies in the sector.
