During this ceremony, individuals with between 20 and 35 years of career service will be honored.
The regional, departmental, and municipal medal of honor rewards services rendered to local authorities and their public institutions.
The Prefect reviews the applications presented for the agents and issues the “diplomas” that the Mayor presents on the day of the ceremony to the honored agents.
The regional, departmental, and municipal medal of honor has 3 levels: gold, vermeil, silver.
113 agents will be recognized this Friday!
19 gold medalists: 35 years of effective service;
40 vermeil medalists: 30 years of effective service;
54 silver medalists: 20 years of effective service.
Required qualities for agents applying for this decoration:
Be particularly well-rated;
Not be under administrative or criminal disciplinary investigation;
Not have been subject to a sanction within the year;
Not have received a sanction higher than a reprimand in the past 10 years;
The candidates’ integrity will be verified in the file, which must necessarily include their criminal record extract no. 2;
The agents’ files must include a detailed report on their activities prepared by the hierarchical authority.
