The people of Nice are heading to Tarbes this afternoon for the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Manoir trophy.
They will defend the 10-point lead they gained during last Saturday’s match at Arboras, which they won 20-10.
They find themselves in a similar position as in the round of 16: on that occasion, they needed to make up for 12 points, now they need to maintain the 10-point lead.
The team from Tarbes are dangerous opponents. In Nice, Stado started their game well. A penalty try scored in the first half and they were leading at halftime (10-3). Then Nice returned with more intent, aggression, and determination, and the game turned in their favor.
In the Pyrenees, the team from the Côte d’Azur will need to demonstrate courage if they want to continue on their path to the Manoir trophy.
