This Sunday against England, Philippe Saint-André and his men suffered their first defeat in this edition of the 2012 tournament, thereby missing out on a final against Wales.
The Blues were warned, but it was not enough, and their poor start to the match forced them into a lost chase against a terribly realistic English team who only waited for us and took advantage of the gifts we gave them.
And although our offensive play was as poor as in previous matches, we were deficient in our strong points of conquest and defense, which left us with few arguments to claim victory in this match. Nevertheless, the mental strength of this team allowed us to come within just two points.
The France team showed its limits. This group seems to be reaching the end of its story, and it is high time to start a new project with a new generation of players, similar to our English friends.
