As expected in recent days, Khéphren Thuram’s departure has just been made official. The midfielder is joining Juventus Turin. Transfer fee: 20 million.

Khéphren Thuram is no longer an OGC Nice player! As recently announced, the midfielder is joining Juventus Turin. The Turin club has officially announced the player’s arrival in their squad. The deal is estimated to be around 20M€, plus some bonuses. The Gym is receiving a nice sum from this transfer, one year before the end of his contract with the Aiglons.

Five years in red and black

This transfer marks the end of the French player’s journey with Nice. Khéphren Thuram turned professional in 2019 with the Aiglons. At the time, the midfielder had completed his training at AS Monaco.

He experienced everything under the Nice colors, from his first minutes in Ligue 1 to European competitions, to his first selection for the French national team in March 2024. In total, Khephren Thuram played 164 matches with OGC Nice across all competitions.

He will not participate in the Olympic Games

Included in Thierry Henry’s list, Khéphren Thuram attended Clairefontaine, where the Bleuets are preparing for the international competition. Juventus is reportedly opposing their new player’s participation in the Olympic Games.

The competition is not part of the FIFA calendar. Clubs are therefore free to decide whether or not to release their players so they can compete in the Olympics. In Thuram’s case, the midfielder will focus on the pre-season with Turin before experiencing Serie A. The first challenge of his career abroad.
