Solaya, a young company from Nice created in April 2024, has just been recognized as one of the winners of the “Convergence AI” challenges. This is a program under France 2030. This recognition is part of a national initiative aimed at supporting innovative projects that address major societal challenges.

The “Convergence AI” challenges were launched on November 29, 2024, by Clara Chappaz, Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs. This call for projects prepares for the AI Action Summit to be held in Paris in February 2025. It brings together academic and industrial stakeholders around themes such as AI for public interest, the future of work, and global AI governance.

Solaya is among the 35 projects selected for their technological ambition and potential impact. The company stands out with its solution automating content creation for e-commerce. By leveraging AI and 3D modeling, it reduces production costs by up to 80% by simplifying processes.

An innovative solution for e-commerce

Massimo Moretti and Mariem Farhat, the founders of Solaya, have developed a tool that transforms the way e-commerce merchants create their product visuals. By eliminating the need for traditional photo shoots, their technology enables the rapid production of professional images. The goal is: to make content creation accessible to everyone, while speeding up the product online listing. The project, which began in April 2024, was born from a shared vision between the two founders.

Based in Nice, Solaya benefits from a supportive environment thanks to the local technology ecosystem and collaborations with Tunisia. These assets support its development and attract talent in the fields of AI and 3D.

A promising future

To support its growth, Solaya is actively recruiting and preparing a fundraising round. These resources will allow it to expand its offerings and explore new sectors. By valuing its local roots and international reach, the company intends to play a key role in the digital transformation of online commerce.

With this recognition, Solaya confirms that innovation can reconcile economic efficiency with social impact.
