Friday, March 11 at 6 PM at the Victor Tuby Museum
Every year, the month of March is nationally dedicated to Poetry. It is within the framework of the Printemps des Poètes that a poetry evening will be offered to the public in Cannes at the Victor Tuby Museum.
This Sculptor and Founder of the Provençal Academy acquired the Moulin Forville, a 14th-century oil mill, on Forville Street in the heart of Le Suquet.
As an Academician of Provence, the writer Jocelyne MAS has been invited to present her poems there. There will also be a Provençal Storyteller and an Actress reciting her poems for an audience seated around round tables where a dinner cocktail will be served. Centered around the theme of Landscapes, poems or free texts from the native country of Jocelyne MAS: Algeria, or texts by Provençal authors set to music, the passengers of this word voyage will cross from one shore to the other beyond the Mediterranean.
William Shakespeare said: “Poetry is that little music that every man carries inside himself.” Let’s listen to this little music for an evening.
