Thirty-one people from different backgrounds, living in Nice, were present on Saturday night to celebrate the traditional festival from the United States. If almost no one knew each other beforehand, the aim of the evening was to share a convivial meal by having each person bring a dish they had prepared.
This is the principle that Cuisine2Gather, an emerging startup, wants to instill, seeking to bring together people from diverse backgrounds living in the same city through cooking. “I am very happy to have allowed all these people to have a wonderful evening by rekindling their desire to go out and meet new people,” says Alizée Couttet, the instigator of this moment of sharing. For this first event, after a last-minute change, it was held at Labocoworking where everyone had the opportunity to discover Italian, Hungarian, Spanish specialties, as well as those from our good old France!
Other themed evenings are expected to be organized by the end of the year, if the health context permits. “I have been asked for an event with a Christmas theme.
