Actively committed to equal opportunities, Market continues its efforts initiated in 2005 with the creation of the Disability Mission.
The proactive policy of the brand: recruitment, integration of people with disabilities, job retention, project sponsorship… is yielding positive results.
After 10 years of actions in stores with employees and local partners, the employment rate of employees with disabilities is close to 6%.
During this day, people with disabilities looking for a job, internship, or apprenticeship contract can visit the store to:
submit their application for a position at Market stores in Nice Gorbella, Nice Montboron, Nice Californie, and Nice St André la Roche: a stand will be available from 9:30 AM to 4 PM.
discover the store jobs (commercial staff for departments and/or checkouts, commercial staff for traditional departments (fish, fruits and vegetables, deli/cheese), butcher, manager…) during 2 job presentations at 10 AM and 2 PM.
Actors of the Market Disability Mission
Eight Market Disability Mission officers coordinate employment retention efforts in the region, promote recruitment, raise team awareness, and assist employees in their Disability Worker Recognition process. In each store, a disability referent is available to listen to employees, guide them to the right contacts, and connect with the mission officer of their region.
