At the end of this weekend, the counter for the 2021 edition of the Telethon showed more than 73 million euros.
This money is intended to fund scientific research on rare diseases.
During the multiple events, by phone or online, 1,634,230 euros were raised in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
In the generosity ranking, the people from the Maritimes follow the Provençals and surpass the Var residents, the Vaucluse residents, and the Alpine residents.
The donation pledges by department:
- Bouches-du-Rhône: 635,770 euros
- Alpes-Maritimes: 418,380 euros
- Var: 325,340 euros
- Vaucluse: 155,440 euros
- Alpes-de-Haute-Provence: 53,300 euros
- Hautes-Alpes: 46,000 euros
