Starting April 21, the Departmental Museum of Wonders in Tende is presenting an exhibition titled “Cloche Art” until June 5. The exhibition will feature 19 cowbells painted by contemporary French and Italian artists.
The Museum of Wonders is an archaeology and ethnology museum for the upper Roya Valley, where livestock farming has always been a significant aspect of traditional life.
Thus, this exhibition highlights this enduring Alpine custom that has its roots in a very distant past.
