The traditional Gala of the Lenval Ladies’ Committee will take place on Friday, November 15 at 7:30 PM at the Palais de la Méditerranée. This evening will welcome numerous personalities from the department, institutions, banks, companies, laboratories, and service providers, not to mention all the individuals who have faithfully supported us for so many years.
Every year, thanks to the generosity and support of the participants, the proceeds from the Gala of the Lenval Ladies allow 100,000 euros to be allocated to the children of Lenval.
A refined menu created by Jacques Chibois, prepared by the Pavillon Traiteur, with participation from the Paul Augier Hotel School and the International School TUNON, where the elegance of the table will compete with the prestige of a royal starred raffle… Fine dishes and wines, magicians, a generous evening that will primarily allow the offering of:
The projects for the 2013 Gala amount to 130,000 € and concern:
Participation in the purchase of an orthopedic operating table for the orthopedic surgery department (participation amount 50,000€)
Centralized monitoring surveillance for the conventional surgery department. This department welcomes patients whose health status is at the threshold of their admission to the intensive care unit. The surveillance equipment shows a particular utility here so as not to overload the intensive care unit (65,000 €)
The maintenance of computers and acquisition of digital tablets to replace the 12 computers.
Funding various workshops and therapeutic projects improving the daily life of young patients: Weekly visits from the clowns of the Théodora association in the pediatric medicine department, annual equine therapy workshops, participation in the Christmas for hospitalized children, climbing workshops.
All actions and objectives led by the Lenval Ladies rely on generosity and donations, and they mobilize themselves each year tirelessly for new operations.
