The 3rd edition of Coeur d’Opéra is a true success.

Latest News

Everything was in place for success: artists from very different worlds, reasonably short performances, dynamic presenters, a receptive audience, and a mythical setting. Coeur d’Opéra pulled it off!

For its 3rd edition, Coeur d’Opéra delighted its audience. This event, co-organized by the Lions Club Nice Doyen, Franck Ferrari, and the Nice Town Hall, allowed 558 residents (children, teenagers, and adults with disabilities), their 180 companions, and 10 people in wheelchairs to enjoy music through a show given at the Nice Opera House.

Diverse Worlds

The presentation was conducted by Maty Diouf, Municipal Councilor Delegate for Integration and the fight against discrimination, Jacques Dejeandile, Municipal Councilor Delegate for Accessibility, and Franck Ferrari, baritone and co-organizer of the event. This trio introduced the artists with good humor and plenty of interaction with the audience.

And the artists managed to captivate their audience: from percussion to dance, through Don Juan, the Nice Opera choir, African rhythms, and the (curious) bird calls. Many captivating, strange, and sometimes offbeat worlds enchanted the audience. Each performance was highly applauded and elicited its own reaction from the audience: the dance made them dream, Don Juan surprised and amused them, the choir gave them chills, and the colorful rhythms of Africa Bakk made them dance. This show was not just a performance; it was an exchange between the audience and the artists, brought in a playful manner, as spectators were able to participate in the show.
