The 8th MAPAUTO GOLF CUP, its success has a name: friendliness and charitable.

Latest News

The 8th edition of the tournament took place at the “Old Course Golf Cannes-Mandelieu” for the benefit of the association Les Dames de Lenval and in the presence of a plethora of personalities.

A charitable event

As every year, the tournament honors an association. Organized by the Bakalian brothers, the tournament takes place over three days at the sumptuous Old Course Golf of Cannes-Mandelieu. One of the Bakalian brothers, Jordan, expressed his pride: “My brother and I are happy to organize the 8th edition of the MAPAUTO Golf Cup. Every year, it’s a great moment of conviviality and sharing around GOLF, greatly appreciated by the customers and friends of the dealership.”

The proceeds will be donated to the association “Les Dames de Lenval“, whose mission is to contribute to the improvement of the reception and living conditions of children in hospitals, and this, with the greatest transparency.

Alongside the tournament, a raffle and an auction are organized for the association. This year, the amount of the auction reached 196,140 euros. A record-breaking sum.

Distinguished guests

Note the presence of personalities from football, rugby, skiing, automobiles, handball, karate, cinema, television, and of course golf, such as Laurent Blanc, Alain Boghossian, Olivier Magne, Yann Delaigue, Patrice Teisseire, TEX, Laetitia Fourcade (Ris & Plus belle la vie), Franck Semonin (Section de recherches), to name just a few.

It’s always a great pleasure to respond to the call of the BAKALIAN brothers to participate in this wonderful event. We meet friends around the white ball, it’s always very convivial and we love it. Moreover, all this for a good cause once again, so if our presence can help generosity and sharing for the sick children, then it’s a success and that’s the greatest achievement.”, said David Ginola, sponsor of the event.

“A legendary site”

The Cannes-Mandelieu Golf, located just a stone’s throw from the sea, was founded in 1891 by Grand Duke Michael of Russia and was frequented at that time by the crowned heads of Europe. Its 18-hole course, emerald green greens, and idyllic setting between sea and mountains offer – for sure – an exceptional quality of play.

It is the oldest golf course on the Côte d’Azur and the third oldest in France.
