This summer of 2021, much like the previous one, has been heavily impacted by the country’s health situation. However, the real estate rental site reported very positive results, showing that the region remains highly attractive this summer.
The real estate rental company, Airbnb, has released an initial report for this summer, presenting the statistics for the month of July and forecasts for the month of August. According to Airbnb, the Alpes-Maritimes would be the 3rd most popular destination for August 2021.
The site first highlights the coastal and mountain departments that have generated the most revenue during the first part of the summer. The Alpes-Maritimes are ranked 6th with 1.2 million in earnings, behind other departments in the region such as Var (1st) and Vaucluse (2nd) which generated 4 and 2.5 million euros respectively.
However, the situation seems to be different for August, according to the company’s estimates, with the department expected to rank as the 3rd most popular destination behind Tarn and Doubs.
