On Friday, May 12th, the Rector of the Nice academy, located at 53 avenue Cap de Croix in Nice (reception hall), awarded the prizes (5 tablets per category) to the winning classes.
Conceived by students from the Nice academy, the competition “All United in Secularism” aims to raise awareness among young people and adults about the principle of secularism in schools, contribute to the learning of citizenship in schools, and allow students to better know, understand, and share the values that underpin the Republic.
32 classes participated in this competition this year.
The 2017 winners:
- “School” category: video “Slam Secularism” from Joseph Calderoni Primary School in Villefranche-sur-Mer
- “Middle School” category: video “Fruit Salad at School” from Antoine Risso Middle School in Nice
- “High School” category: poster “All Together in Our Differences” from La Coudoulière Vocational High School in Six-Fours-les-Plages
- The 2017 academic “favorite” prize: the poster “On the Road to Secularism” from Henry Wallon Middle School in La Seyne-sur-Mer
