Once banned and prohibited, FM radio stations are now a faithful companion to millions of listeners, including thousands from Nice in their ranks.
The range of “audible” radios in Nice and the surrounding region comprises 25 stations, a complete list of which can be found at the end of this article. They offer a complete spectrum from Jazz (TSF) to current music (Kiss FM, NRJ, Fun Radio, Skyrock, Europe 2, RTL2), not forgetting news (France Info, France Culture, France Inter) and sports (RMC Info).
For fans of French songs and nostalgia, the indispensable Nostalgie, MFM, and Chérie FM are references in the field and offer local broadcasts… though not frequently enough to our taste.
But to truly stay local, I strongly recommend Fréquence K and also France Bleu Azur for their high-quality coverage of local news.
In short, you have plenty of choices and now that stereo systems come with a remote control, you can even enjoy some radio surfing on one of these nights of a TV strike.
