The charity concerts of the Rock Fest are back for a 9th edition on May 5th, 6th, and 7th. To the sounds of the biggest rock and metal bands, 16 groups will perform on the stage of the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice.
Each year, the Festival donates 100% of its profits to associations that help sick children or children with disabilities to improve their daily lives. Since 2013, the year the Festival was created, nearly €70,000 has been raised in favor of various associations.
In 2023, the Rock Fest Festival supports Happy Hand and Melodys, two associations that work for an inclusive society and offer adapted solutions.
The Happy Hand association develops projects for the creation of eco-friendly living and hospitality places in natural environments, incorporating animal mediation into its activities. It also sets up shared time events such as “mêle-anges” days to learn living together. Happy Hand aims to build a “Citizen Disability” to promote equity, equality, and fraternity.
The Melodys association works for the dissemination of music courses adapted to children with “dys” type disorders. Indeed, music helps to promote the development of phonological awareness, as well as to improve language and focus. Thus, the Melodys method assists children with dys disorders from kindergarten to high school, to promote their integration and learning skills.
