On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, which takes place on November 14, the City of Nice is organizing the Nice Diabetes Screening Week and is offering several free screenings.
On Saturday, November 13, from 9 AM to 5 PM, at Place Masséna, the Nice association LIDER Diabetes is organizing diabetes screening and awareness activities.
Next week, every morning from 9 AM to 12 PM, you will have the opportunity to get screened. Here is the program for this Nice Diabetes Screening Week.
- Monday, November 15: Guichet Unique Nice Facile – 6 rue Tonduti de l’Escarène (Nice city center)
- Tuesday, November 16: Nice Municipal Office for Seniors – 19 rue Gioffredo (Nice city center)
- Thursday, November 18: Moulins Health Center – 17 avenue Martin Luther King (Nice West/Les Moulins)
- Friday, November 19: Le Ray Annex Town Hall – Place Fontaine du Temple (Nice North)
Every afternoon from 2 PM to 4:30 PM next week, the City of Nice’s vaccination center, located at 10 rue Hancy, also offers diabetes screening.
1 in 7 diabetics are unaware that they have the condition (this represents a million French people), so don’t wait any longer and get screened!
