The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art offers a free exploration of an era and the secrets of language through Italian art.
Since 2008, the City of Nice has been committed to making cultural transmission an essential component of its policy. Many activities are organized for this purpose, especially during the summer period.
While earlier this month the experience “Les contes d’apéro” took place, with the TNN, built around the figure of Pier Paolo Pasolini, Italian art is once again being honored with the event “Festa – Arty Party,” organized on July 9, 2022, from 4 PM to 11 PM.
The event is centered around the exhibitions “Vita Nuova. New challenges of art in Italy 1960-1975” and “Lucia Marcucci. The secrets of language.”

4 PM – If the museum were to tell me a story: Italian storytime – From 3 years old
5 PM – Family treasure hunt!: Participate in a treasure hunt in the “Vita Nuova” exhibition – From 5 years old
6 PM – Flash tours of the “Vita Nuova” exhibition – From 6 years old
7:30 PM – Theatrical performance “Conversazione intima” – From 6 years old
As part of the “Vita Nuova” exhibition, the dire-dire company offers a meeting with actress Nathalie Masseglia. Sophie de Montgolfier invites her to share with us, through songs, anecdotes, and memories, her postcard of Italy! It’s an opportunity to revisit the exhibition and the 1960s. With the participation of musician Romain Pazot.
9 PM – TUBO CATODICO by GRADAR – From 6 years old
To fully immerse in the land of Dante, a stand of Italian street food managed by the Nice establishment, “La pêche à la vigne,” will be on-site all evening.
