The statement issued announces that “this program will be open to all residents of the 49 municipalities of the Metropolis, which is nearly 550,000 inhabitants. During the upcoming municipal and metropolitan councils in November and December, a resolution setting the allocation conditions will be voted on so that this measure can be implemented on January 1, 2019.”
The allocation conditions are subject to certain conditions and restrictions:
– Be an employee or civil servant with a permanent or fixed-term contract residing in the territory of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis,
– Reside more than 500 meters from a tram stop,
– Not have a public transport subscription subsidized by the employer,
– Have a road distance between home and the workplace greater than 10 kilometers,
– Earn a net salary less than or equal to 2 times the minimum wage (SMIC) as of January 1 of the current year, which is approximately €2,340/month as of January 1, 2018,
Applications must be submitted to the Sustainable Mobility Service of the Metropolis.
