The Michelin-starred in PACA

Latest News

The 2017 ranking is out: 70 new starred establishments, a record!

Michelin has just revealed the names of the new starred establishments of the 2017 vintage at a press conference in Paris. Feared and anticipated by chefs, the verdict awards 1 new three-star, 5 new two-stars, and 57 one-star. The Paca region snags 10 one-stars, but nothing for Nice, Cannes, or Marseille. Congratulations to the chefs and their teams! Congratulations as well to those who already had it—or them—and remain in the running. Maintaining the level is as challenging as earning the star.

A new 3-star: I mention it because it’s the only one!
• Le 1947 at Cheval Blanc (Courchevel) – Yannick Alléno

Among the new two-stars: I mention two because their chefs first made waves with us:
• Hostellerie de Plaisance (Saint-Émilion) – Ronan Kervarrec
• Le Gindreau (Saint-Médard) – Pascal Bardet

In Paca

• Mickaël Feval (Aix-en-Provence) – Mickaël Féval
• Pierre Reboul (Aix-en-Provence) – Pierre Reboul

• La Palmeraie (La Croix-Valmer) – Jimmy Coutel
• Le Champ des Lunes, in Lauris-Lourmarin – Jérôme Faure

• Le Jardin de Benjamin (Lorgues) – Benjamin Collombat
Fanny Rey (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence) – Fanny Rey
• L’Olivier (Saint-Tropez) – Philippe Colinet
• Le Roc Alto (Saint-Véran) – Alexandre Lechêne
• Les Explorateurs (Val Thorens) – Romuald Fassenet and Josselin Jeanblanc
• Le Saint-Martin (Vence) – Jean-Luc Lefrançois

I will go and see, and I will tell you about it…

The guide will be available in bookstores from February 15 for €24.90.
