Of course, the law makes it impossible to hold the executive mandates of both Mayor and President of the General Council simultaneously, but this did not take into account the intervention of the departmental president of the Radical Left Party, Jean-Christophe Picard, who filed an appeal against the “Nice Together” list which, on its ballot, included the PRG symbol alongside one of its former members, Jean-Michel Gally.
It is now up to the Administrative Tribunal to decide within the next six months whether this appeal is admissible, not ruling out the possibility of an appeal to the Council of State, which could allow Christian Estrosi to hold both his mandates for a year.
