As Valentine’s Day approaches, the Gusto Family restaurants in Nice are going digital and unveiling a special collection for the lovers’ holiday to be ordered on the group’s e-boutique. It’s an opportunity to celebrate your love while enjoying a moment of pure pleasure.
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. On this occasion, the Gusto Family group (which includes the restaurants Boccaccio, Galet, Favola, and Voglia) is offering a special menu on its brand new e-boutique to enjoy at home, just like at the restaurant.
### The Gusto Family Group’s E-Boutique
Far from the new “takeout” habits, this is an online store that was launched in December 2020, allowing customers to order homemade desserts from Boccaccio, Galet, Voglia, and Favola specially created for the occasion. The Gusto Family also offers seafood, fine groceries, and “lifestyle” products reflecting the group’s image. After all, who hasn’t dreamed of bringing one of these delicious treats over when invited to friends’ houses?
This idea comes from Philippe Cannatella, the group’s director and pastry chef, and was accelerated by the pandemic. *”The idea is to develop the #GustoFamily spirit by adapting to new consumer habits and trends. We have thus devised a digital platform where the products evolve with the seasons. The sanitary conditions of 2020 allowed us to use our time to refine our concept and still be by the side of the people of Nice for every important moment.”*
### A Special “Valentine’s Day” Collection
During the week of February 14th, the Gusto Family’s e-boutique will add temporary collections to its product offerings, such as the Valentine’s Day collection. For a weekend of love, the teams at the “Le Boccaccio” restaurant will launch a capsule collection and invite couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day as if they were at the restaurant. A special menu has been crafted to share a gastronomic and romantic dinner at home.
– Starters:
– Yuzu emulsified salmon gravlax.
– Octopus tentacle with mashed Vitelotte potatoes.
– Main Courses:
– Mediterranean Sea bass with a salmon heart, eggplant caviar, and whole baby artichokes OR
– Supreme guinea fowl stuffed with black truffle, morel sauce, and truffle mashed potatoes.
– Desserts:
– Lace heart (chocolate, caramelized pecans, and tonka bean).
– Heart to take (choux pastry, caramel, mandarin, orange blossom).
The package (starter + main course + dessert for two people) is 96 euros. The shared desserts are 18 euros (for two).
