The application developed by young entrepreneurs offers express home delivery of medications. The startup won the “Marie Curie” prize last night in Paris at the French Tech Rise, an event that highlights regional tech.

While 82 startups from all corners of France traveled to present their projects in front of hundreds of investors, only four of the most promising startups were selected. Among them, the young company from the Côte d’Azur, Livmed’s, won the “Marie Curie” prize.

The idea was born from two young entrepreneurs whose mothers each suffer from chronic illnesses. Regularly faced with emergencies and the medical and pharmaceutical world, it was obvious that it wasn’t convenient, and even less so for suffering individuals, to travel to purchase their medications.

“Since the beginning of the year, the app has been downloaded more than 100,000 times and we record 130 orders per day”
This application attracts patients because it aims to be useful for sick individuals. The service operates 24/7, allowing delivery in 30 minutes.

The young entrepreneurs Etienne Leroy, Manon Renou-Chevalier, Talel Hakimi, and Mehdi Matyja also want to continue improving the user experience of the application “so that it can be easily used by visually impaired individuals and people with reduced mobility”.

The startup and its 15 employees are well on their way to becoming the leaders in medication delivery within France. By 2022, they aim to collaborate with more than 3,000 pharmacies.
