The City of Nice is implementing a new initiative to support young licensed athletes in Nice for the 2014-2015 sports season. As part of its effort to promote access to sports for everyone, sports coupons will be distributed under the following conditions:
Beneficiaries:
Young people aged 6 to 18 years old as of 09/01/2014 (born between 1996 and 2008), residing in Nice and licensed with a sports club in Nice affiliated with a sports federation recognized by the Ministry of Sports with its headquarters located in the city.
Conditions for allocation:
For recipients of the Back-to-School Allowance (ARS) and/or the Child Disability Education Allowance (AEEH), a single contribution for the 2014-2015 season of €40 can be awarded by the City to each young person, through the distribution of two €20 sports coupons, provided that the membership fee paid is equal to or greater than this amount.
For other recipients, a single contribution for the 2014-2015 season of €20 can be awarded by the City to each young person, through the distribution of one €20 sports coupon.
Documents required to obtain assistance from the City of Nice:
o For recipients of the Back-to-School Allowance (ARS) and/or the Child Disability Education Allowance (AEEH):
- A certificate from the club (downloadable here) duly completed
- Proof of ARS and/or AEEH
o For other recipients:
- A certificate from the club (downloadable here) duly completed
- Proof of residence in the city of Nice
Sports coupons can be collected from Monday, November 3, 2014.
