Nice Première is pleased to introduce the launch of a new website it has developed, www.presidentielles-2007.org.
Why this observatory?
Simply because the presidential election battle is already well underway, and everyone, from the right to the left, has started a charm offensive with elected officials to gather the 500 signatures necessary for their candidacy.
Everyone remembers the last presidential elections of 2002 and the shockwave that swept across the country. It is in this spirit that this observatory was created.
Thus, the observatory will provide every citizen with letters that can be sent to all the elected officials who have the power to sponsor (Deputies, Mayors, General and Regional Councilors, Senators and Paris Councilors) as well as letters intended for the local press to report their responses.
“This is a citizen initiative for us citizens because it is important to know the sponsorship intentions of our elected officials. Indeed, only 500 sponsorships, chosen randomly, will be known to the public and through this site we wish that each signatory can be recognized by everyone.”
Franck Viano, the creator of the site and editor-in-chief of Nice Première, hopes to enable each voter to know the intentions of their elected officials.
At a time when some candidates are already known (Philippe De Villiers, Jean-Marie Le Pen) and the list of contenders changes day by day (Nicolas Sarkozy, Dominique de Villepin, François Hollande, Jack Lang, or Ségolène Royal), it will be interesting to see who will support them.
To be continued…
