The Paca region will co-finance devices for verifying health passes for restaurants and cultural venues.

With the implementation of the health pass on Monday, August 9, validated by the Constitutional Council, the question now arises regarding the checks of this document, which will be required at the entrance of many daily life venues like bars or museums.
The president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, Renaud Muselier, has therefore proposed to partially contribute to the purchase of health pass verification devices for professionals who wish to acquire them.
The region would propose to contribute between 300 and 500 euros to the rental or purchase of these devices.
To this end, the local government would invest an amount of approximately 1.5 million euros, adjustable based on demand. The budget will then need to be reviewed and voted on October 29 in the full assembly of the Paca region.

Now, the remaining question is which machines will be approved by the competent authorities this summer, allowing professionals to receive this assistance afterward by submitting an application in September.
The Nice city hall, on its part, is also considering contributing to the acquisition of such devices for professionals.
