The Repair Tour de France is setting up in Nice this Wednesday, October 4th.

Initiated by Spareka and in partnership with WD-40, community repair workshops are being organized throughout France for one day.

This Wednesday, October 4th, Spareka and WD-40 will set up in Nice. From 10 AM to 5 PM, on the Promenade du Paillon (near the children’s playground), the repair heroes will be waiting for you! Established since 2019, this initiative aims to address the sustainable development triptych. It’s no coincidence that the company Spareka has chosen the European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW) to relaunch its tour… The spare parts resale company engages in a solidarity, economic, and environmental approach. In fact, learning to maintain and/or repair an object can save a lot of money.

Moreover, in a context where overconsumption has proven its impact on the environment, it is essential to stop discarding what can be repaired. Finally, these “repair tours” have a solidarity dimension. They allow meetings, exchanges, and also prove that we are capable together. Thus, lower costs, less waste, and more solidarity are the watchwords of these repair tours!

A kit offered to the first 100 participants

The Repair Heroes of the company Spareka are also a way to provide everyone with the keys to home repair. This is why the first 100 participants on Wednesday, October 4th, will receive a complete repair kit. This kit includes everything necessary for maintaining and repairing devices: white vinegar, screwdriver, penetrating oil, contact cleaner, protective gloves, and an online guide.

Moreover, if home repair interests you, the company Spareka has a YouTube channel where they regularly post tutorials.
