The City of Nice is doing everything possible to ensure public safety by developing areas sensitive to geological phenomena.

Since 2008, several exceptional protection operations have been carried out in the Bon Voyage neighborhood, a former quarry composed of limestone cliffs about a hundred meters high. Currently, security work has been completed adjoining the cliff located at 226, route de Turin. This plot is classified as a red zone under the Ground Movement Risk Prevention Plan (PPR).

These works have also helped to secure the firefighters’ barracks and the residence at 228 route de Turin.
