It is in Nice that the Tour de France à la Voile will come to its conclusion, from Friday to Sunday. An event filled with emotion and reflection. The Tour de France à la Voile remains true to its roots, bringing together sailors from all walks of life.
After a month of intense battles on the water, the grand winner of this 39th edition will be decided in Nice on July 31st.
This Friday, starting at 12:45 PM, the coastal raid of Nice will take place.
For the 24 teams participating in this great summer event, it’s the final stretch after 20 days of sailing and 600 miles alternating between coastal raids and nautical stadiums.
Yesterday, Team Lorina Limonade – Golfe du Morbihan won the nautical stadium in Hyères, but more importantly, they secured their victory in the Tour de France à la Voile, with two races still left to compete. A magnificent triumph for this team that won the amateur ranking last year.
They are assured of winning the Tour because their lead in the general classification is 56 points, and with two days remaining, nothing can catch them.
There is still suspense, starting with the fight for second place between Grandeur Nature Véranda and Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne. Trailing by two points this morning, Nicolas Troussel’s men regained the lead by finishing second in the nautical stadium, while Grandeur Nature Véranda finished fifth.
