Nocturnal maintenance work will take place on Line 1 of the Nice tramway until November 28. Some stations will not be served during this period.

Maintenance work on the rails of Nice tramway’s Line 1 is scheduled from November 10 to 28, 2024. The objective is to improve the comfort of travelers and residents by addressing rail wear. The operations will take place over several nights during the week:

  • Night of Sunday, November 10
  • Nights from Tuesday, November 12 to Thursday, November 14 inclusive
  • Nights from Sunday, November 17 to Thursday, November 21 inclusive
  • Nights from Sunday, November 24 to Thursday, November 28 inclusive

These nocturnal interventions are planned subject to good weather conditions and the absence of unexpected construction issues.

To maintain service, replacement buses will run between “Henri Sappia” and “Hôpital Pasteur” stations every 10 to 15 minutes. Departures are scheduled from 9:45 PM from “Henri Sappia” and from 10:30 PM from “Hôpital Pasteur,” until the end of the service. Travelers can also use lines 8+ and 12+, which run parallel routes.

During the work, the “Vauban” station will not be served in both directions. The “Saint-Jean d’Angely Université” station will not be served in the direction of “Hôpital Pasteur.” Due to other maintenance work, the “Palais des Expositions” station towards “Henri Sappia” has remained inaccessible all day since October 28 and will continue to be until November 29, 2024.

An information system is in place at the stations, on the network, and online to guide travelers. Lignes d’Azur is committed to minimizing noise disturbances and completing the work quickly.
