
The New Year is approaching quickly! Like every year, a fireworks display is organized. Here are some places along the coast where you can enjoy these sound and light shows.
This year, there will be no fireworks in Nice itself. However, the surrounding areas of Nice are not breaking this New Year’s Eve tradition. Monaco, like Nice, has not mentioned any fireworks. However, a light fountain show is scheduled from 11:59 PM to 12:20 AM. This show is part of the dance evening organized starting at 9 PM.
But if you want to see fireworks for the New Year, the coast is full of places that might interest you. Starting with Cannes, which on this Sunday, the 31st at midnight, invites you to the Croisette for a fireworks display themed around Charlie Chaplin. A beautiful tribute to this actor from the city of the Festival. Monday, January 1st, offers a special fireworks display, fired from Juan les Pins to Antibes, all set to music if you please. Meet on the beach at 6 PM to watch.
The New Year in the Nice Hinterland
The Nice hinterland is joining the celebration. Many villages like Saint-Martin-Vésubie are organizing events for the evening. If you want to see fireworks in the mountains, you’ll have plenty of options. Starting with Isola 2000, which will launch a fireworks display around 7 PM on Sunday, December 31st. There is also Auron; the fireworks will begin at 6 PM in the village central square.
Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée will set the steeple of its church ablaze at 7:30 PM. The Valberg resort is organizing a show at 11 PM, a fire and pyrotechnics choreography to electro music among the snow. And finally, Colmiane invites you to join from 5 PM to share a drink before the fireworks launch.
